Pandemic update

Covid-19 has turned everyone's life upside down for more than a year now. The impact on us artists in Sonoma County was drastic so the in-person June open studio event I have participated in for 16 years was mostly an online + by-appointment event in September Acalled SAVOS 2020: SebArts Virtual Open Studios http://sebartsvirtual.org.

A further complication in September 2020 were the California wildfires. My Guerneville studio and neighborhood were threatened by the Walbridge wildfire in August 2020, forcing  my husband and I to evacuate for 10 days. The fires burned much of our treasured Armstrong Woods State Park, which is only a mile from our property, but thanks to a small army of fire fighters and other volunteers, the fire did not reach the residential and commercial part of our little valley.

Thanks to the vaccine and improving conditions, my open studio presence this year will hopefully be a more normal one.  Unless unforeseen health department rules are put in place near the end of May, I will be greeting the public for Art @ the Source on June 5-6 and 12-13, 2021. My art barn studio #58 is filled with all the new art featured on this website plus a new series called "Dreamscapes". In addition, I am fortunate enough to be able to host on my property 3 other artists: sculptor Catherine Bohrman in the courtyard and painters Edmund Price and Luba Stolper in our pop-up garage gallery. I would love to share all this with you in a way that best protects the health and safety of us all  --i.e. with social distanced, masks required, sanitzer-stocked visits.

For questions, please feel free to contact me  --either by phone (707) 869-9419 -- or email croneclown@comcast.net.   I'm often available for same-day visits--or you can schedule a visit to my studio anytime during the year--pandemic conditions or not.

The Maresca art barn studio is located at 16120 Watson Road, Guerneville, CA 95446.  Just a mile north of downtown Guerneville and a block west off Armstrong Woods Road.
